Burendo achieves ISO 9001:2015 and ISO 27001:2022!

We’re proud to announce that Burendo has successfully achieved both the ISO 9001:2015 Quality Management System standard and ISO 27001:2022 Information Security standard. We are one of the first companies in the UK to meet the latest version of ISO 27001:2022 and it ensures that we are following best practice, equipped with a risk-assessed approach to information security and a trustworthy management system.

We were awarded the certification following a comprehensive audit by the international Citation group (formerly QMS), one of the UK’s leading ISO certification bodies.

ISO 9001:2015 is an internationally recognised standard that sets a high bar for quality management. Its purpose is to ensure clients get consistently high-quality delivery of products and services based on several management principles, including a strong customer focus, the motivation and responsibility of top management, the efficiency of processes and commitment to continuous improvement.

ISO 27001:2022 is the newest iteration of the ISO 27001 accreditation for Information Security Management Systems (ISMS). Its purpose is to provide a systematic approach for establishing, implementing, maintaining and continuously improving an organisation’s ISMS. It sets rigorous requirements for protecting information, managing risks, as well as ensuring the confidentiality, integrity, and availability of data.
